This one-hour orientation will introduce you to the Cleveland Documenters community, including a walk-through of Documenters.org, assignment compensation, and our assignment workflow. You’ll also learn core skills relevant to a range of paid assignments.
Upon completion of this community-building workshop and a short public meeting quiz you’ll be eligible to apply for paid Cleveland Documenters assignments.
We offer other Documenters trainings, such as live tweeting for public meetings (right after this orientation), live-tweeting, and other workshops to give you the support and preparation you’ll need. Unless otherwise noted, these trainings are encouraged but not required for the related assignment.
