This one-hour orientation will introduce you to the Cleveland Documenters community, including a walk-through of Documenters.org, assignment compensation, and our assignment workflow. You’ll also learn core skills relevant to a range of paid assignments.
Upon completion of this community-building workshop you’ll be eligible to apply for paid assignments.
We offer other Documenters trainings such as note taking for public meetings (right after this orientation), live-tweeting, and other workshops to give you the support and preparation you’ll need. Unless otherwise noted, these trainings are encouraged but not required for the related assignment.
