This one-hour training will introduce you to local government in Cleveland and how to monitor it for the public good. You’ll learn the basics of notetaking and open meeting law—and how they can be used to document local public government agencies and hold elected officials accountable.

Upon completion of this community-building workshop and a brief quiz, a digital badge will be added to your Documenters.org profile.

While this training isn’t required to apply for notetaking assignment, we strongly recommend it.

It’s all happening Wednesday, June 9th from 6-7pm EST, via Zoom. Register to receive access details.

If you are new to Cleveland Documenters, be sure to register for the Cleveland Documenters Orientation before this training at 5pm. Attending an orientation is a requirement for working as a Cleveland Documenter.
