Ward 7 monthly meeting hosted by Council Member Donnie Kammer.
Each meeting starts with a “Coffee with the Councilman” from 5:15 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. Then the regular ward meeting starts at 6 p.m.
From the City of Akron’s website about Ward 7: “You can’t visit Ward 7 without thinking about the Raymond C Firestone Golf Course which hosted the PGA Championships, the American Golf Classic, the World Series of Golf and the annual Ohio Senior Open. Ward 7 is home to Bridgestone Americas Technology Center which lies right across from Firestone Stadium which has a long-standing history within the softball world. Firestone Metro Park is a great place to enjoy fishing in Little Turtle Pond, sledding in the winter, and scenic walks along the many trails. Firestone Metro Park has an abundance of wildlife and plant life that many outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy.”
