Notice is hereby given that the Board of Education for The School District of Philadelphia has added the following special meeting to its 2024 public business meeting schedule to consider and vote on a proposed collective bargaining agreement and other business. March 7, 2024 - Special Meeting to consider a proposed collective bargaining agreement and other business - starting at 4:00 p.m. The Goals and Guardrails Committee Meeting originally scheduled for this day and time will no longer be held as a stand alone meeting. Progress Monitoring towards Goal 1 & Goal 2 will occur as an agenda item during this special meeting. This meeting will be held via a hybrid model in person in the Auditorium of the Education Center, 440 North Broad Street and remotely via video conference. The agenda for this meeting will be made available 24 hours in advance of the meeting in accordance with law. The meeting will be live streamed which the public may view at https://www.philasd.org/pstv/watch/ or on Comcast Channel 52 and Verizon FIOS Channel 20. The meeting will also be recorded and posted later on the School District’s website. Public participation at this special meeting shall be in accordance with the administrative procedures for Board Policy 006. There will be a limit of 15 student speakers and 30 general speakers for this meeting.
