According to Dan Goldblatt, director of policy and communication at the Marion County Clerk's Office, just over 111,000 votes have been cast so far in Marion County as of 12:15 p.m. today. @MirrorIndy @indydocumenters
If you are on the north side of Indy in the Castleton area, there is no outside line to vote at AllisonvilleChristianChurch (7701 N. AllisonvilleRd.). About a 20 minute wait inside, and plenty of lot parking. @MirrorIndy @IndyDocumentors
@mirrorindy The atmosphere here at the Allisonville Christian Church voting site is calm, and as folks arrive, they are chatting with other voters. Good old Hoisier Hospitality in action! @MirrorIndy @IndyDocumenters
@mirrorindy @indydocumenters Approached by a female asking if "I was a poll watcher, too?" My response, "No, but I'm happy to be here chatting with voters like yourself!" Here at Allisonville Christian Church, 7701 N. Allisonville Rd. in Castleton. A 30-minute wait right now @MirrorIndy @indyDocumenters
@mirrorindy @indydocumenters Just chatted with Austin Miller, a first-time voter at age 23, who is a resident of the Devonshire neighborhood. He is an independent, but at the national level is voting for Harris/Walz today. @mirrorindy @IndyDocumenters
@mirrorindy @indydocumenters Just spoke with 24-year-old Michaela Gilliam, who works in Castleton. She is a first-time voter from the NW side, and is proudly voting for Kamala because she is interested in issues that concern her. She is glad this process is "coming together." @MirrorIndy @indydocumenters
