The meeting was called to order at 6:12 by the president of the board Kenneth Riggans.

The first order of business is a case follow-up for Brandi Taziyah. The The Internal Affairs Department sided with the officer and the board decided no further action was needed.

The next case up is Linda Field, who alleges that the officers at the scene of the accident that resulted in the death of her son Avery, were negligent in running tests on the other driver involved in the accident and temporarily detaining him.He has yet to be charged after

The next case on the docket is the case of Adontae Hamilton.She alleges that during a domestic dispute with her boyfriend the police arrested her because when asked to leave she didn’t leave fast enough and feel the the police punished her. The officers allege that Hamilton, was

in the process of hitting her boyfriend with the car and that led to her arrest.Hamilton’s boyfriend didn’t want to press charges at the time.The police came back on their own accord for a wellness check and arrested Hamilton.

The board agreed that more information was needed in this case and the case was not voted on at this time but will be revisited at a later date.

The last case on the docket is Terence .Plummer alleges that he was falsely arrested for disorderly conduct and when he asked for the officer’s name and the officer’s supervisor he was denied.The board concluded that Plummer had no merit for requesting a Plummer.Mr

The Citizens’ Police Complaint Board (CPCB) reviews complaints brought to the attention of the Citizens’ Police Complaint Office. The board has nine voting members, three non-voting members, and one IMPD member, the City-County Council appoints six members and one IMPD member, and the Fraternal Order of Police appoints one member.
