NPU Y includes the neighborhoods of Amal Heights, Betmar LaVilla, Chosewood Park, Englewood Manor, High Point, Joyland, Lakewood Heights, South Atlanta, and The Villages at Carver. This NPU meets every third Monday at 7 p.m.

NPUs are official, volunteer-managed organizations that provide input to the City of Atlanta on public safety, permits, land use, planning (including variances & zoning), liquor licenses, and special events & festivals, among other neighborhood matters. There are 25 NPUs across the city. They were created by Atlanta Mayor Maynard Jackson in 1974 to elevate resident voices. NPUs typically meet once a month to conduct business.
