Cleveland Documenters is excited to launch a new, limited assignment: Voices on the Vaccine

Documenters will interview people to help us explore and understand how fellow Clevelanders are making decisions about coronavirus-vaccine safety and availability and what information helps form opinions.

We want to hear from as many friends, family members and neighbors as possible but especially from people whose perspectives might not be reflected in the current conversation. We’ll be accepting applications for this paid assignment on a weekly basis.

We will include an extra hour for recorded conversations and/or for conversations translated into English from another language.

If selected, you will have one week to complete the assignment.

That includes: Identifying a person to interview — prioritizing people who wouldn’t be on a video/digital call or do not have internet access or whose voice might not be included in news coverage.

Conducting your interview! We suggest that you record your interviews so you can listen closely and then accurately share what you have learned.
